Association Welcomes New Staff Member
OJFSDA is pleased to welcome Victoria Rykaczewski to its team as its newest staff member.
In her new role, Rykaczewski will support OJFSDA's policy team in coordinating association priorities and facilitating communication between the state and Ohio's county job and family services agencies.
Rykaczewski brings five years of public service experience in the Ohio Statehouse, where she served as a Legislative Aide and senior policy and communications advisor to the Ranking Member of the House Finance Committee. Her work included budget policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and legislative operations.
Prior to her Statehouse service, she worked on healthcare and housing policy at the Cato Institute, managed special projects for the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, and led digital communications initiatives for Kids Eat in Color.
"During my five years at the Ohio Statehouse, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work county Job and Family Services professionals do to support children, families, and hardworking Ohioans and how essential a strong county-administered health and human services system is to helping Ohioans when they need it most," said Rykaczewski. “I’m honored to join OJFSDA and to support the professionals who are making a difference in Ohioans’ lives every day."
"We are delighted that Victoria is joining the OJFSDA team,” said Executive Director Jon Honeck, “and we are looking forward to her contributions in communications and policy development as we work to strengthen Ohio’s county-administered human services programs."
